uMeet is not some ice breaker; it’s a real conversation. Rather than meeting everyone for just a few seconds, students will engage each other through one-to-one conversations. Students will leave forming real relationships that go beyond simply knowing someone's name and major. Think engagement, retention, school spirit, multicultural awareness, and fun…all rolled up into one awesome event! EVENT-PLANNING TIPS
AUDIENCE: Current Student Leaders; Staff; Clubs & Organizations
DATES: Beginning of an on-campus or off-site retreat or conference any time during the year
DURATION: 45-minutes to two hours
VENUES: Multi-purpose Room or Indoor/Outdoor Field. The best setup is a multi-purpose room with seats in the front half of the room near the stage and open space in the back half of the room for uMeet activities.
