LONG STORY SHORT

From a young age, I have always loved stories. I knew that I wanted to be a part of telling and sharing stories with others, so it wasn’t surprising to anyone that ended up pursuing theatre. After receiving my BA in Theatre from DeSales University, I found Collegiate Empowerment and was thrilled to discover this company that does “edutainment”, where young students and professionals are empowered to write and share some of the most exciting stories of all time—their own! Many years and one MFA degree later, I am grateful to still be able to do this work.

THE REST OF THE STORY

My background in theatre is based in community development. Apart from storytelling, one of my favorite parts of being a theatre artist is that I get to tell stories with other people. Being in community is one of my greatest passions. For many years, I have worked with the youth theatre organization Players of the Stage (POTS), which focuses on bringing theatre to life for young actors. POTS gives back to the community by donating proceeds from its productions to local charities in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, my home state. I have also worked with many other theatre organizations to bring quality productions and educational programs to life.

Collegiate Empowerment was my first job out of college and the emphasis of mission, team, self was exactly aligned with my community-focused principles. We should always be focused on serving the greater community (the mission), the people we work with (the team), but shouldn’t neglect our own talents and desires (the self). Collegiate Empowerment is a beautiful team of devoted individuals who truly care about the work they do and the people who do it.

REAL GPA

My Real GPA shines through in helping everyone recognize and celebrate their own God-given talents. My goal in every Collegiate Empowerment event is to enable individuals to know their own worth and go live fantastic, fulfilling, and noble lives! Your community needs YOU!

OUTSIDE OF CE

I currently live in Hellertown, PA, where I am training to become an aerials coach and writing some plays (although not at the same time. I’m not that coordinated.) I am also working hard to achieve the Coolest Aunt Ever award. My constant companion is my awesome cat, Bilbo.
